School Council

The school council ensures that the children
of the school "have a voice".

We wanted our children to be able to contribute to the constant process of improving our school and to have a place where they could air their views. Each class has voted so that one of their members will represent them in the council. They were chosen by their qualities of being reliable, responsible and able to communicate clearly the wishes of their class.

The Council meet regularly, on the first Tuesday of the month. We are presently in the process of improving the school yard. The School Council have helped set up the 'Schoolyard Buddies' where children can go and talk about any problems they have, or, if they have no one to play with.
